Borewell
A borewell contain a motor & pump inside a pipe which is drilled upto the level of water under ground. Now the discharge pipe of pump and electrical cable is brought up to the ground level.
If the water source is an artesian aquifer (a pressurised water source) a bore is simply a hole drilled down to the water table.
